Last month Queen Elizabeth II toured the Game of Thrones production facility in Northern Ireland and among other things saw the notorious Iron Throne. She declined to sit, but she did give it a careful look, as you can see here:

Then a few days ago the band of the Queen’s Guard in London was recorded practicing the Game of Thrones theme song:
