George R.R. Martin Please Write Like the Wind (Updated)

On behalf of fans of George R.R. Martin‘s novel series A Song of Ice and Fire, an appeal to Martin to write faster:

The song is written and performed by Paul Sabourin and Greg “Storm” DiCostanzo (aka Paul and Storm), who have done a lot of other entertaining stuff. This page has the lyric and a link to buy the song, assuming you’re a Good Person who likes to support worthy independent artists.

Incidentally, the non-singing guy in the video is Jeff Lewis, who plays Vork on Felicia Day‘s on-line comedy television series The Guild about people who spend vast amounts of time playing an Internet game.

Update: George R.R. Martin and fellow author Neil Gaiman take amusing issue with Paul and Storm over the song at the opening of W00tstock 5.0:
