In case you missed it, the BBC has lately been under attack both for covering up child sex abuse by a now-deceased and widely honored star of children’s programming and for a false charge of child abuse against a political figure. Jon Stewart summarizes the disturbing story, managing to do a surprisingly good job of mocking the bad guys without understating their villainy.
(This is obviously a really difficult subject to cover in a comedy news show, but I think Stewart and The Daily Show brought it off pretty credibly.)
