Obama’s neglected message

In an interesting blog post, The Washington Monthly’s editor, Paul Glastris, notes that President Obama has made a much better case for his reelection in private than in public. He quotes something Obama said in a interview with The Des Moines Register that was originally for some reason off the record, asking readers to “consider whether you think the president would be in better shape in the polls now if he’d been making the case for his candidacy this way in front of millions of voters when he had the chance to.” Worth a read.
