Another segment from British comic and musician Bill Bailey’s Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra, this one illustrating the difference between the dramatic NBC News theme by John Williams versus the weirdly cheerful British ITN news theme used in the 1960s and 70s.
Recorded at Royal Albert Hall in 2008. I posted another segment (the Doctor Who theme as Belgian jazz) last week, and the whole thing is available on DVD (e.g., here in the U.S.).
