Longest-serving mail carrier in America

The longest-serving mail carrier in the United States is still on the job in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Originally from Brooklyn, he served as a bomber ball turret gunner during World War II (and survived a plane crash), for a while delivered the post in the Empire State Building in New York, and still stays busy. His private life sounds pretty interesting as well. I would never have guessed this guy’s age (or the age of his second wife, for that matter).

I try to weed out spam and anything defamatory or pointlessly insulting (to anybody), unless of course I think it's really funny.
