It’s not the end of the world

A NASA scientist succinctly addresses some end-of-the-world myths bandied about in popular culture, from the end of a Mayan cycle late this year to supposed deadly solar storms, a pole shift, a nasty wandering planet, and so on. To those who take this stuff seriously it will probably be taken as proof that NASA is in on the conspiracy.
