Here’s the latest 100-second video from Talking Points Memo, this one summarizing the November 9 debate among Republican presidential candidates. Note that while everyone’s been talking about Perry’s forgetting the name of one of the three federal departments he wants to eliminate, this was not the only odd moment.
If you haven’t yet seen the full bit with Perry and you can stand to see it — it’s painful to watch even if you’re not a Perry fan — here it is. (He did, as the TPM debate summary above shows, eventually remember the name of the third department, but obviously not immediately.)
