Superconducting levitation

Nifty goshwow physics demonstration from Tel Aviv University involving a superconducting disk and several magnets:

A physics professor (Andrea Damascelli of Canada’s University of British Columbia) shows the same effect to his students, with a little more in the way of explanation of what’s going on, including a demonstration of a similar phenomenon in a non-superconducting conductor (ordinary copper):
