Tap dancing for everybody

An 85-year-old man going to get his taxes done happened to see a dance studio in the same building. He had for decades dreamed of taking tap dancing lessons, and despite the fact that he was a bit unsteady on his feet, he decided to ask about it.

One of the instructors came up with a safe way to teach him, and he’s been enjoying it. Now the dance studio has branched out to offer classes at an assisted living center.

  1. About 17 years ago I decided to take tap lessons. My wife and our daughter joined me. We were part of a recital at the end and got a special spot because our instructor had never had a family join her classes.
