Alleged rocker Ted Nugent is well known for bizarre utterances and right-wing extremism (see for example these items), but in 2016 it’s astonishing that even he would post the sort of thing he did Sunday to his Facebook page.

It features an image (possibly not created by Nugent) headed “So who is really behind gun control?” Below are photos of 12 prominent persons, all of them Jewish, and in case you might miss that point, each photo includes a miniature Israeli flag. The picture of “New York Mayor Mikey Bloomberg” labels him inter alia an “Israeli agent.” The one of Senator Frank Lautenberg is captioned, “Gave Russian Jew immigrants your tax money.” Below the array of photos Nugent writes, “Know these punks. They hate freedom, they hate good over evil, …” and so on.

When various people across the political spectrum criticized his Facebook post, some calling for Nugent to be kicked off the board of directors of the National Rifle Association, Nugent responded, “What sort of racist prejudiced POS could possibly not know that Jews for guncontrol are nazis in disguise?” Various white nationalist writers and websites praised Nugent for the post.
