Jon Stewart on taking credit

The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart does yet another excellent job of skewering politicians in the clip below.

 

It’s understandable, given time constraints, that Stewart had to leave some things out. Still, it’s a pity he didn’t mention that back in 2008, many Republicans (including Romney) criticized Obama for saying that he’d order attack if he learned where Osama bin Laden was hiding out, even if it turned out to be in Pakistan. Now, of course, the same people are claiming they’d have done it too.

And on Mitt Romney’s recent attempt to take credit for rescuing the auto industry (which has provoked exclamations of incredulity even from leading Republicans), at the time Romney insisted what Obama was doing was guaranteed to fail.
