Bill Maher on the rich getting richer

In his usual over-the-top (but funny) fashion, Bill Maher responds to the fact that between 1980 and 2005, 80 percent of all income growth in the U.S. went to the top one percent of the population:

(If you look at the comments on YouTube, you’ll discover that there are people who try to justify this disparity, basically by claiming that the one percent were responsible for all that income growth and the remaining 99 percent of Americans were pretty much deadbeats.)
